Only You Truly Know Where You Need Improvement

  • A real estate license does not automatically prepare agents for the realities of the business.

  • Some agents struggle with prospecting.

  • Others struggle with confidence, negotiation, follow-up, closing, organization, objections, or client communication.

  • Every agent has strengths.

  • Every agent also has areas that may be limiting their growth and earning potential.

  • Take a few minutes to honestly review the skills below and ask yourself: “Which of these areas do I genuinely need to improve?”

  • Then rank them in order of importance to you personally & make a note for yourself to review later.

Remember that the Truth Is:

"The skills you hesitate to improve are often skills that need fixing and are affecting your success the most. Many agents never fully learn these skills when starting.”

“Only you know the answer to that last question. Perhaps I may be able to help you identify and improve certain skills that may be limiting your progress.”

The Hardest Truth

The Industry Does NOT Fully Prepare New Agents For:

Lead Generation

Most new agents don’t know where business actually comes from.

Negotiation

Many agents have never truly learned how to handle pressure, objections, or multiple offers.

Client Trust

Clients hire agents who create confidence, not confusion.

Knowing WHAT to say matters:

  • The Goal Isn’t To Sound Like A Salesperson.

Advanced questioning techniques are skills that help agents :

  • uncover hidden objections

  • understand motivations

  • identify concerns

  • communicate more effectively

For example, agents need learned probing techniques to know :

  • How to wisely use what I personally learned early in my career as yes-no and w5 questioning techniques to probe for hidden objections, all of which can also be learned or improved.

  • How to use some questioning techniques which I learned, like "the what is it? Is it?" or the "if I could, would you" techniques etc., all of which can also be learned or improved.

  • When to use other techniques which I also learned I.E. "wouldn't you...", "couldn't we...", "shouldn't we..." techniques etc., all of which can also be learned or improved.

  • When to use many other techniques like "the fair trade technique", and other useful learned tools when selling, also all of which can be learned or improved.

  • There are many more questioning skills and techniques that agents need and must learn to add to their present methods in order to help them probe and communicate accurately with people who are going to be suspicious of strangers, at least until they are comfortable in talking to them. All of these skills can be quickly learned and added to your buyer/seller presentations .
